Case Study — Membership Portal The Chartered Institute of IT (BCS)

We developed a new membership portal for BCS which allows users to consume articles, modules, media, qualifications and podcasts via a single sign-on system. Their content is delivered to members based on their grade level and we also built it to allow users to bookmark in their accounts for easy access and a better user experience. In addition, BCS can also control a rich set of content meta data, can promote content across the site and display to different sets of users based on customisable personas.

We also enabled bookmarked content and recently viewed items to be shared with other BCS systems. This gave users the ability to create a personalised dashboard and greater freedom to discover content.

Oversight & Centralised Communication

All of our work is managed within our online Project Management system “ClickUp” which our clients have full access to view and comment on the tickets.

This allows for full transparency and easy back and forth communication in one centralised hub.

We love collaborating with in-house teams (IT, marketing, website managers, content editors) to supplement their skills with our Umbraco expertise. Each client is assigned both a dedicated Project Manager to manage the day to day activities and an Account Manager to ensure that you’re meeting your overall objectives.
